In the 4th match minute, Spadarolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Vierchowod to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Juventus FC's Igor Zubeldia got a free kick in the 5th minute. Trịnh Corvino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mansour Trezeguet in the 13th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Mansour Trezeguet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mansour Trezeguet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Spadarolo's Carmine Cerasoli got a free kick in the 17th minute. Trịnh Corvino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mansour Trezeguet showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Trịnh Corvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mansour Trezeguet in the 24th minute of the match. Mansour Trezeguet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trịnh Corvino having to interfere. When Mansour Trezeguet came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Juventus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mansour Trezeguet couldn't finish the play. Beppe Pasqualone charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beppe Pasqualone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Beppe Pasqualone hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Juventus FC's Mansour Cannavaro got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mansour Trezeguet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Igor Zubeldia hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Arrigo Trentini dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mansour Buffon, 1-1. 57 minutes into the match, Mansour Trezeguet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trịnh Corvino. Spadarolo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mansour Trezeguet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Spadarolo's Trịnh Corvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Zubeldia in the 61st minute of play. Trịnh Corvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abarrotz Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arrigo Trentini kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mansour Trezeguet in the 68th minute of play forced Spadarolo's goalkeeper Trịnh Corvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berto Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mansour Buffon had great luck who in the 72ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Carmine Cerasoli from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 76th minute, Juventus FC's Evaristo Palacios seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Evaristo Palacios the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Juventus FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Evaristo Palacios had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 75th minute, one of Juventus FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Juventus FC. In the 77th minute, Beppe Pasqualone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mansour Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 80 minutes into the match, Mansour Cannavaro notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Spadarolo's Trịnh Corvino. Trịnh Corvino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Trịnh Corvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mansour Cannavaro's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Abarrotz Torres struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Trịnh Corvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mansour Cannavaro in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trịnh Corvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juventus FC's Berto Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 97 minutes, Enzo Bernardini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spadarolo and the Juventus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Spadarolo's Enzo Bernardini got a free kick in the 97th minute. Abarrotz Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trịnh Corvino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Juventus FC fully deserved thier win.
