Xande Gay made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Dennis Castagna sent off a good shot on target. Marcus Arce took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ercole Ceresoli. Ercole Ceresoli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 29th minute, Alvaro Busillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 played minutes BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS got a freekick which was hit by Elder Hermes. The audience was convinced that Dennis Castagna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xande Gay was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 40th minute of the match CA Boca Jrs got a corner. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabiano Paglione ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led CA Boca Jrs's Dennis Castagna to fire away a dangerous shot which Xande Gay despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Xande Gay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Di Gregorio in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With 51 minutes on the clock, Gökcan Afşar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for CA Boca Jrs. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Arce couldn't finish the play. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS made a substitution. Emanuel Mazza replaced Délio Nogueira. Alkinoos Triantafyllou kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After some careless play in the BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS defense, Dennis Castagna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xande Gay. The BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xande Gay should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
