If Celestino Lizbeth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Huly charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Huly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lorenzo Huly kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barin Holt in the 16th minute of play forced lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's goalkeeper Omar Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Todd Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Lizbeth in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barin Holt got free with Omar Daunte in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Barin Holt scored to the left of an out of position Omar Daunte, making the score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celestino Lizbeth in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Todd Murphy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilberto Kaxen kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Lizbeth in the 47th minute of play forced St. James Gate F.C.'s goalkeeper Todd Murphy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Lizbeth was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Todd Murphy managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's Primitivo Galindo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. St. James Gate F.C. were furious when Tierney Matthews was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 59 minutes into the game, one of St. James Gate F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alberto Weterio did an outstanding performance 62 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-1 to the right of an irritated Todd Murphy in the goal. When Barin Holt came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the St. James Gate F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barin Holt couldn't finish the play. The supporters of St. James Gate F.C. booed when lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Fernendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Biddy Delaney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Primitivo Galindo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Todd Murphy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Omar Daunte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Todd Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Lizbeth in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, St. James Gate F.C.'s Biddy Delaney got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Berrigan Hunt kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Todd Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Weterio in the 83rd minute of play. Celestino Lizbeth might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Todd Murphy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celestino Lizbeth ran back to his position shaking his head. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
