Cleto Maxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Rodas's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Ambrosio Mano hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, Volvio Moreno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Rodas to maneuver through the defense. When Freddy Arias fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liquid Spirit's protests and gave Freddy Arias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Freddy Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudencio Rodas struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Cleto Maxin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Volvio Moreno. Liquid Spirit's Cleto Maxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Rodas in the 59th minute of play. With 59 minutes on the clock, Severo Elizardo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Cleto Maxin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Remigio Santiago. Virgilio Rocendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alto Pajazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 64 minutes, Gaspar Evangelista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volvio Moreno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Evangelista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prudencio Rodas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Cleto Maxin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cleto Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Evangelista in the 67th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prudencio Rodas got free with Cleto Maxin in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Prudencio Rodas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Maxin was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Liquid Spirit's goalkeeper Cleto Maxin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prudencio Rodas. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Prudencio Rodas put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cleto Maxin. Prudencio Rodass short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Cleto Maxin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Gaspar Evangelista got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Virgilio Rocendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Mero in the 93rd minute of the match. Volvio Moreno's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Remigio Santiago in the 96th minute. After taking down the ball on Volvio Moreno's corner Remigio Santiago fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cleto Maxin quite easily take care of the ball.
