After 7 minutes of play, SC Conceição's Edgard Ribeiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mădălin Buzgar was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Carlos Jardel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Buhuș in the 13th minute of play forced SC Conceição's goalkeeper Rodolfo Rodríguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mădălin Buzgar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Jardel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mircea Jivulescu hit a great ball. When Vlad Buhuș came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vlad Buhuș couldn't finish the play. Carlos Jardel took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mădălin Buzgar. Mădălin Buzgar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dorin Chirtoacă in the 33rd minute. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Inácio Lago sped through FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mădălin Buzgar. The SC Conceição fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when SC Conceição's Carlos Jardel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Jardel made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Carlos Jardel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mădălin Buzgar. Carlos Jardel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Sandu Cândea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rodolfo Rodríguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Mădălin Buzgar made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Conceição's Carlos Jardel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mădălin Buzgar. That made the score 1-10 after 82 minutes of play. The FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mădălin Buzgar should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, Carlos Jardel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Conceição had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
