Edu Ramos had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping José Maria Teixeira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 46th minute, Manuel Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Moisés Loyola made the kick off in the second half. Yan Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute.
