Lilywhites's Ercole Faiella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Colombi in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Ennio Colombi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Faiella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camillo Ruggieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Pellecchia, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Monkey D.Luffy's Camillo Ruggieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Pellecchia in the 14th minute of play. Monkey D.Luffy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Frank Pani scored to the left of an out of position Camillo Ruggieri, making the score, 1-0. Monkey D.Luffy's Ennio Colombi got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ennio Colombi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ennio Colombi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lilywhites's Fedele Carulli got a free kick in the 45th minute. When Arrigo Cino came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Monkey D.Luffy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arrigo Cino couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabiano Pellecchia to make the kick off. Frank Pani charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Pani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Castagna during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Augusto Castagna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ennio Colombi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ercole Faiella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Fabiano Pellecchia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camillo Ruggieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Lilywhites was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Musso to maneuver through the defense. Felice Ingegno kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ercole Faiella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arrigo Cino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Ettore Di Mario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lilywhites's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monkey D.Luffy the free kick. After 74 minutes of play, Monkey D.Luffy's Ennio Colombi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ercole Faiella was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fedele Carulli struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Camillo Ruggieri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lilywhites. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Ercole Faiella successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Lilywhites getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Felice Ingegno hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Ennio Colombi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monkey D.Luffy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 97 minutes into the match, Lilywhites's goalkeeper Ercole Faiella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ennio Colombi. After 98 minutes Lilywhites's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelo Pala who took care of the corner kick. The Monkey D.Luffy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
