After a rather tough play, Lilywhites's Florian Musso got a free kick in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Freddy Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gladiadores Legionarios's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Alvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercole Faiella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godofredo Txerran charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 20 played minutes Gladiadores Legionarios got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Txerran. 24 minutes into the match, Lilywhites's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Pepillo came free, but Ercole Faiella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundo Herrera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabiano Pellecchia's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Segundo Herrera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Fabiano Pellecchia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Segundo Herrera was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Atilano Jacob hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Fabiano Pellecchia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basilio Pepillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Herrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Segundo Herrera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camillo Carta went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Fabiano Pellecchia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Herrera having to interfere. Arturo Mascia kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lilywhites had won after a very even match.
