The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Wilk in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Svante Backlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Svante Backlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Olisadebe in the 15th minute of play. Svante Backlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Olisadebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Olisadebe in the 18th minute of play forced PND Fotboll's goalkeeper Svante Backlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Skrwa Sikórz fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Skrwa Sikórz's Emanuel Olisadebe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 23 minutes into the match, PND Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Wilk came free, but Svante Backlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Skrwa Sikórz booed when PND Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sören Törnqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damazy Niemojewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the PND Fotboll defense, Emanuel Olisadebe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svante Backlund. The PND Fotboll fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svante Backlund should have stopped the shot. Svante Backlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Wilk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svante Backlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wladyslaw Kargul in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Skrwa Sikórz were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Artur Wilk made the kick off in the second half. Konrad Galus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Svante Backlund made a huge save. Artur Wilk succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 55th playminute. Svante Backlund made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Artur Wilk sent off a good shot on target. Svante Backlund was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Artur Wilk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artur Wilk really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Svante Backlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Niemojewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Svante Backlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PND Fotboll's Svante Backlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Niemojewski in the 77th minute of play. PND Fotboll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artur Wilk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. PND Fotboll's Svante Backlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save PND Fotboll from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the match, Damazy Niemojewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Svante Backlund. PND Fotboll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damazy Niemojewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. 94 minutes into the match, PND Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Hryc came free, but Svante Backlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Skrwa Sikórz's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
