Haroldo Maciel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Igor Gipuzkoa made a huge save. 8 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani Meira came free, but Igor Gipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Bermund in the 13th minute of play forced Montalcino SE's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, João Adolfo da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montalcino SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Adolfo da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atlético Matorrales's Igor Gipuzkoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Matorrales from getting a goal against them. Montalcino SE's Ernani Meira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Igor Gipuzkoa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Haroldo Maciel scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Gipuzkoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abel de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Igor Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Haroldo Maciel could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Igor Gipuzkoa however easily saved by the left post. Luís Guilherme de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Bermund, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Cristóvão Paiva hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Igor Gipuzkoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Nóbrega. In the 36th minute Zeledon Bermund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeledon Bermund made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Montalcino SE's João Adolfo da Silva made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Gipuzkoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Atlético Matorrales's Diego Darien got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes, Montalcino SE's Ernani Meira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Igor Gipuzkoa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montalcino SE reached it. Luís Guilherme de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Bermund in the 60th minute of play. Luís Guilherme de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Mitxaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute.
