In the 5th minute Roland Cirella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shefqet Isallari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Götz Venkataramanappa got a free kick in the 8th minute. Vlash Xhaferri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lew Maurer. FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Olivier Ostermann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shefqet Isallari. Mali i Thatë FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olivier Ostermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 15 minutes, Olivier Ostermann made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mali i Thatë FC's Shefqet Isallari tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute Lirim Osja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Maurer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Mali i Thatë FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demirel Arbnori to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's Yann Wirz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shefqet Isallari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lew Maurer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lirim Osja, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Olivier Ostermann took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shefqet Isallari. Shefqet Isallari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 37th play minutes Olivier Ostermann shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Shefqet Isallari and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Karim Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wil 1900's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Gerber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shefqet Isallari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lirim Osja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lew Maurer having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eneid Ilo made a kick off. Olivier Ostermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Shefqet Isallari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shefqet Isallari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Walther in the 56th minute of the match. Mali i Thatë FC's Meleq Tare was substituted for Aldo Peshkatari. In the 65th minute, Meleq Tare reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lew Maurer. The goal made the score 5-2. In the 78th minute, Elion Fazliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lew Maurer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lirim Osja in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that Olivier Ostermann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shefqet Isallari was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. With a little luck, FC Wil 1900's Lew Maurer got control of the ball when Eneid Ilo tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mali i Thatë FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Wil 1900.
