With a little luck, Balus Treter's Utz Bauer got control of the ball when Luiz Fernando Arce tried to sneak it across the goal line. Utz Bauer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Válter Peixoto went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Balus Treter's zone, Luiz Fernando Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Utz Bauer came out of the goal and Luiz Fernando Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Utz Bauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Paes in the 11th minute of the match. Utz Bauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Válter Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Utz Bauer made a huge save. Utz Bauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Baptista in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Balus Treter getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alois Ritschel hit a great ball. Utz Bauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Peixoto in the 22nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Válter Peixoto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Utz Bauer was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Utz Bauer was a little too slow when Aírton de Amaral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. When Evaristo da Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xanda FC's protests and gave Evaristo da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Xanda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Balus Treter's Utz Bauer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Balus Treter from getting a goal against them. Luiz Fernando Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Utz Bauer made a huge save. Utz Bauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diogo da Rocha during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Xanda FC's Diogo da Rocha got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 47 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Christer Hellmann. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Renan Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xanda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Renan Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Utz Bauer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Válter Peixoto to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, one of Balus Treter:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Balus Treter. In the 53rd minute, Luiz Fernando Arce made a precise shot to the right of Utz Bauer. Balus Treter's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 55th match minute, Balus Treter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hieronymus Schnäbeli to maneuver through the defense. Alois Ritschel was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 63 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Alois Ritschel. A collision led to Balus Treter getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Don Rudolf hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Válter Peixoto in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Utz Bauer saved Balus Treter from getting behind. Aírton de Amaral took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Utz Bauer. Utz Bauer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Balus Treter's Utz Bauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton de Amaral in the 73rd minute of play. Genílson Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Balus Treter getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ekpenyong Vogler hit a great ball. When Ekpenyong Vogler got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Balus Treter. Utz Bauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Paes in the 90th minute of play. Utz Bauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válter Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renan Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Renan Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ekpenyong Vogler fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balus Treter's protests and gave Ekpenyong Vogler a yellow card for diving instead. Ekpenyong Vogler kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Xanda FC had played much better football throughout.
