The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If 秦鸿云 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Costa's late challenge caught a Darkness's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Costa helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Benigno Canor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rui de Mendonça was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Denílson do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rui de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Etor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Darkness's Benigno Canor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rui de Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Domingos Etor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Darkness's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Etor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Encanto's Rui de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Canor in the 41st minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Benigno Canor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rui de Mendonça. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benigno Canor to strike the kick off in the second half. Rui de Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Etor in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Darkness getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fernando Restu hit a great ball. Encanto's Rui de Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Encanto from getting a goal against them. Rui de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Canor in the 57th minute of play. Benigno Canor struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Rui de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Darkness. In the 65th match minute, Darkness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldebaran Tauro to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 67 minutes, Washington Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Encanto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Washington Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldebaran Tauro charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldebaran Tauro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Darkness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldebaran Tauro to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute of the match Washington Borges shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gianluigi Ogazon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Benigno Canor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute 秦鸿云 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Ogazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Encanto's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Canor came free, but Rui de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Encanto's Rui de Mendonça got control of the ball when Marcial Errapel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Benigno Canor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Jhon Stones in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Encanto's Carlos Costa. When the final whistle sounded Darkness left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Encanto.
