When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Nereo Vito took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Zheng Di Xi to make any attempt to save it. Arnoldo Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armandinho Brasil in the 19th minute of the match. When Ernani de Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the MDS Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernani de Toledo couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Toby Futbol Club defense, Armandinho Brasil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnoldo Cordeiro. The Toby Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnoldo Cordeiro should have stopped the shot. When Cristobal Socorro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zheng Di Xi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Israel Bizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the MDS Soccer Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Toby Futbol Club.
