The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ganyo Semerdzhiev sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Svetozar Popchev took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Matthew Jastrzembowski to make any attempt to save it. After 7 minutes of play, THE CLUB's Svetozar Popchev made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matthew Jastrzembowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonio Zagorski lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Antonio Zagorski hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Hamburg Fighters's Leroy Sane got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ganyo Semerdzhiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Hamburg Fighters from getting a goal against them. Ganyo Semerdzhiev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luka Reich took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danail Mladzhov. Danail Mladzhov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ilko Madzhov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Jastrzembowski having to interfere. Svetozar Mavrodiev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matthew Jastrzembowski having to make a save. In the 44th minute Kilian Gutrath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danail Mladzhov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Friedel Wahlberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Hamburg Fighters got a freekick which was hit by Lüder Ganz. In the 52nd minute, Arkadiusz Bendyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ganyo Semerdzhiev in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthew Jastrzembowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svetozar Mavrodiev in the 56th minute of play. THE CLUB's Ganyo Semerdzhiev got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luka Reich scored 2-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danail Mladzhov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 67 played minutes THE CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Ramos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ganyo Semerdzhiev in the 70th minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Matthew Jastrzembowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Ganyo Semerdzhiev notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski. Matthew Jastrzembowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matthew Jastrzembowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svetozar Mavrodiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Ganyo Semerdzhiev came free, but Matthew Jastrzembowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joško Gvardiol in the 81st minute of play. When Leroy Sane fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hamburg Fighters's protests and gave Leroy Sane a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hamburg Fighters getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Leroy Sane hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, THE CLUB's Sergio Ramos got a free kick in the 87th minute. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ganyo Semerdzhiev in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes, Ganyo Semerdzhiev made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. THE CLUB's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
