Inter de Melão's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edelmiro Panfilo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Tiburones Pacufantásticos's Edelmiro Panfilo to fire away a dangerous shot which Allan de Almeida despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, César da Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Oinatz. Tiburones Pacufantásticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that César da Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustin Ferran in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Allan de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Ferran's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Mateo Ieltxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonçalo Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 minutes, Teo Sandalio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiburones Pacufantásticos and the Inter de Melão players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teo Sandalio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Tiburones Pacufantásticos's Ernesto Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Farias in the 28th minute of play. Allan de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Ferran in the 35th minute of the match. Gonçalo Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Oinatz having to interfere. Jardel Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ernesto Oinatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Inter de Melão's César da Rocha got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agustin Ferran was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Tiburones Pacufantásticos defense, Ernesto Farias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Oinatz. The Tiburones Pacufantásticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Oinatz should have stopped the shot. Ernesto Farias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gonçalo Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute César da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Oinatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Oinatz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurinho Vergílio went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Tiburones Pacufantásticos's zone, Ernesto Farias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Oinatz came out of the goal and Ernesto Farias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Inter de Melão were the better team. Inter de Melão's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
