The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hiperbórea's Tiago Ferrão got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Tiago Ferrão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hiperbórea's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Ferrão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Hiperbórea's Filinto Caldeira got a free kick in the 17th minute. Grêmio Bulls's Wellington Figueiredo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hiperbórea. Rafael Macena kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Santiago Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Grêmio Bulls's Wellington Figueiredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrique Tinoco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Grêmio Bulls were awarded a corner. Wellington Figueiredo went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 26th match minute, Grêmio Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Jacinto came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Hiperbórea's Tiago Ferrão. But to his dismay, Tiago Ferrão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Moraes in the 31st minute of play forced Hiperbórea's goalkeeper Henrique Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Paulo Leal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcel Jacinto, 2-0. Grêmio Bulls's Marcel Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Bulls from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Bulls's Andrézinho Gomes got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 46 played minutes Hiperbórea got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Leal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago Ferrão to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Grêmio Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Leal came free, but Marcel Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Leal scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hiperbórea's Henrique Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Hiperbórea from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Henrique Tinoco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Henrique Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Marcel Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Leal in the 81st minute of play. Hiperbórea's Jesualdo Silveira was substituted for Adérito Amaro. In the 89th minute, Dário Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Grêmio Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Leal came free, but Marcel Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wellington Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Henrique Tinoco made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Hiperbórea's Jesualdo Silveira got a free kick in the 95th minute.
