Universitario's Matro Perramon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Dahlin in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Martin Dahlin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matro Perramon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Michael Lindkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matro Perramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Dahlin in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 56 minutes of play, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Martin Dahlin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matro Perramon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Dahlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matro Perramon having to interfere.
