In the 5th minute, Cenan Savlet fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roger Hoolemans, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Portus Ganda's zone, Dario Benedetto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Hoolemans came out of the goal and Dario Benedetto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Dario Benedetto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Roger Hoolemans came out of the goal and Cenan Savlet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christopher Swinnen hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Amador Francesco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Hoolemans having to make a save. Cenan Savlet might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Hoolemans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cenan Savlet ran back to his position shaking his head. If Rigoberto Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cenan Savlet succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Serafin Cidro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roger Hoolemans. Portus Ganda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Portus Ganda's Güralp Ergüleç nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Crişan Taffarel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Portus Ganda's Lennert De Loose got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Güralp Ergüleç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Dario Benedetto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Hoolemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Benedetto in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Hoolemans saved Portus Ganda from getting behind. After some careless play in the Portus Ganda defense, Rigoberto Flores kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Hoolemans. The Portus Ganda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Hoolemans should have stopped the shot. Cenan Savlet charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cenan Savlet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ciclista FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cenan Savlet hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Dario Benedetto put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roger Hoolemans. Crişan Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loid Franckx, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Crişan Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güralp Ergüleç in the 90th minute of play. Roger Hoolemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cenan Savlet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Carlos Vincent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Portus Ganda's Güralp Ergüleç in action when he in the 98th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! For all the effort they put into the match, the Portus Ganda players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ciclista FC.
