Apolo Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Qwinton in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Godofredo Eduino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudio Senio. Godofredo Eduino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Godofredo Eduino might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Senio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godofredo Eduino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th match minute, Villa Mitre City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Endura to maneuver through the defense. Sportivo Constitución's Nikiforos Iakovatos got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Villa Mitre City getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dalmacio Endura hit a great ball. With a little luck, Villa Mitre City's Claudio Senio got control of the ball when Oscar Dimas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Sportivo Constitución booed when Villa Mitre City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Nikiforos Iakovatos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Senio. Villa Mitre City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikiforos Iakovatos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Matias Tulio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Beti's late challenge caught a Sportivo Constitución's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geronimo Beti helped the player get up and apologised. Geronimo Beti kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Godofredo Eduino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Claudio Senio made a huge save. Claudio Senio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikiforos Iakovatos in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Constitución's Placido Sustrai got a free kick in the 34th minute. A well done corner resulted in Conrado Raymond drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind Sportivo Constitución's goalkeeper. Conrado Raymond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Apolo Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikiforos Iakovatos took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Senio. Claudio Senio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikiforos Iakovatos to strike the kick off in the second half. The Sportivo Constitución fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Sportivo Constitución's Godofredo Eduino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 55th minute, Matias Tulio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldo Qwinton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Apolo Aguirre made a huge save. After 61 minutes, Godofredo Eduino made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Villa Mitre City's Claudio Senio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Claudio Senio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Eduino in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Nikiforos Iakovatos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
