Ermis Panakakis started the match with the kick off. O.T.E's Stamatis Banasidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by František Krejčí in the 2nd minute of play. O.T.E's Nike Tavlaridis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jaroslav Rafaj, made in the 4th minute of the game. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Jaroslav Rafaj with František Krejčí as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dragan Fiedler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, František Krejčí managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's supporters crossed their fingers, but František Krejčí was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Ermis Panakakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th match minute, O.T.E was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lin Quan Hai to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dragan Fiedler was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Nike Tavlaridis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's goalkeeper Nic Nedal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stamatis Banasidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragan Fiedler, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho booed when O.T.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Niedzwiecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stamatis Banasidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragan Fiedler in the 66th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Ermis Panakakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nic Nedal having to interfere. Diego Armando Hrabina hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 96th match minute, Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimír Zikán to maneuver through the defense. If Diego Armando Hrabina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. O.T.E walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
