After some careless play in the ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ defense, Thrasivoulos Tsartas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mirel Galvão. The ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mirel Galvão should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the game, Francisco Tróia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Telis Moras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Telis Moras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Telis Moras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dieguinho Veiga hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Thrasivoulos Tsartas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Mirel Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AEK KAVALAS FC's Thrasivoulos Tsartas got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 28th minute Frank Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telis Moras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ignatios Gittas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Telmo de Sousa with Oséias de Souza as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience was convinced that Frank Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telis Moras was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Telis Moras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Tróia in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, AEK KAVALAS FC's Louis Chiotis got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 56 minutes, Francisco Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Telis Moras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Tróia in the 61st minute of play. When Frank Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Tavares couldn't finish the play. The supporters of AEK KAVALAS FC booed when ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evripidis Sparos, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thrasivoulos Tsartas kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. AEK KAVALAS FC were victorious despite being under pressure from ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ for much of the match.
