Iordanis Batsidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Petros Digozis charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Iordanis Batsidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Paublo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Iordanis Batsidis came out of the goal and Leopoldo Gurutz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Paublo got free with Iordanis Batsidis in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonel Espiridion came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Iordanis Batsidis could save by the left post. In the 73rd minute, RÚSTICOS F.C's Gualterio Ereinotz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iordanis Batsidis. Iordanis Batsidis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 79th minute, Leon Francesco made a precise shot to the right of Iordanis Batsidis. Pyrgetos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After 85 minutes of play, RÚSTICOS F.C's Leonel Espiridion made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iordanis Batsidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonel Espiridion struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Iordanis Batsidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RÚSTICOS F.C. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Paublo got free with Iordanis Batsidis in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pyrgetos FC's Iordanis Batsidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Ereinotz in the 92nd minute of play. RÚSTICOS F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
