Amfithea Hotspur's Babbis Theocharis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Amfithea Hotspur from getting a goal against them. Babbis Theocharis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Crescencio in the 4th minute of play. Alekos Lineos hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Federico Hug lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Roma FC's Federico Hug got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Roma FC's Alfredo Crescencio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Virgilio Tulio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roma FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amfithea Hotspur the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Roma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Tulio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Roma FC booed when Amfithea Hotspur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marinos Roussos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Amfithea Hotspur's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Crescencio came free, but Babbis Theocharis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Senon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chrisostomos Charoulis in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Alfredo Crescencio made a precise shot to the right of Babbis Theocharis. Amfithea Hotspur's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Bartolo Senon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chrisostomos Charoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Crescencio in the 48th minute of play forced Amfithea Hotspur's goalkeeper Babbis Theocharis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kostas Kostopoulos made a kick off. In the 51st minute Miltos Chatzidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Senon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giannis Androulakis during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roma FC's Bartolo Senon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chrisostomos Charoulis in the 67th minute of play. Bartolo Senon made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Kostas Kostopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Fulgencio Palos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chrisostomos Charoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Crescencio in the 83rd minute of play forced Amfithea Hotspur's goalkeeper Babbis Theocharis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Amfithea Hotspur fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Roma FC a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alfredo Crescencio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Amfithea Hotspur's Babbis Theocharis. 3-0. A collision led to Roma FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Alfredo Crescencio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Amfithea Hotspur's Chrisostomos Charoulis got a free kick in the 96th minute. Fulgencio Palos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Theocharis having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Roma FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
