The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Bacardi FC's Fernandez Cuero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alkaios Kalfopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9thth minute of the game Cornelis Goorts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Alkaios Kalfopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Thymios Kitrinos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandez Cuero in the 11th minute of play forced ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's goalkeeper Alkaios Kalfopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alkaios Kalfopoulos came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Bacardi FC's Cornelis Goorts. But to his dismay, Cornelis Goorts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Cornelis Goorts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alkaios Kalfopoulos was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's zone, Fernandez Cuero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alkaios Kalfopoulos came out of the goal and Fernandez Cuero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto Gorka scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alkaios Kalfopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute Lennart Libesoons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkaios Kalfopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trifon Sferopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Alkaios Kalfopoulos came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Bacardi FC's Cornelis Goorts. But to his dismay, Cornelis Goorts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Cornelis Goorts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alkaios Kalfopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 56th minute, Cornelis Goorts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alkaios Kalfopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Alkaios Kalfopoulos came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Bacardi FC's Gilberto Gorka. Alkaios Kalfopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Lennart Libesoons managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacardi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lennart Libesoons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alkaios Kalfopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Lennart Libesoons kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alkaios Kalfopoulos. That made the score 0-10 in the 68 minute of play. Cornelis Goorts struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Alkaios Kalfopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacardi FC. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Alkaios Kalfopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandez Cuero in the 72nd minute of play. After 81 played minutes Bacardi FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandez Cuero. In the 83rd minute, Gilberto Gorka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alkaios Kalfopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Alkaios Kalfopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandez Cuero in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Christos Karapiperis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bacardi FC the free kick. Christos Karapiperis hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Errikos Ntougeroglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Ricky Van Dock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
