But to his dismay, Emiel Pinksteren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell got control of the ball when Emiel Pinksteren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santiago Cordarell was a little too slow when Fernando Tolhauzsen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. Emiel Pinksteren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Santiago Cordarell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiel Pinksteren got free with Santiago Cordarell in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santiago Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Tolhauzsen in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remicio Price in the 21st minute of play forced Bresikas's goalkeeper Santiago Cordarell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Otsoko was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bresikas getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Justino Otsoko hit a great ball. Rafael Maria Cousiño struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Santiago Cordarell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Richmond. In the 33rd minute Luciano Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Próspero Friederichs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes, Javier Haritz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bresikas and the AFC Richmond players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Bresikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Haritz to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remicio Price, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Enrique Arostegui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 66 minutes, Luciano Savion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bresikas and the AFC Richmond players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Bresikas got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Savion. Santiago Cordarell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Arostegui went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Próspero Friederichs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Próspero Friederichs was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Luciano Savion capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santiago Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Arostegui in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bresikas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AFC Richmond.
