Latexperiment Kraków were furious when Carl Svanberg was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After the first half AM United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Damião Quintanilha made the kick off in the second half. D.J. Mario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damião Quintanilha in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Aureliusz Lewkowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hildeberto Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Moizuk kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Elias Novais fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AM United's protests and gave Elias Novais a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of AM United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Latexperiment Kraków:s goal. The referee gave Latexperiment Kraków a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roland Moizuk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AM United's Hildeberto Ramalho. 1-2. The supporters of AM United booed when Latexperiment Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Bakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Latexperiment Kraków's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Damião Quintanilha 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. The AM United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AM United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
