The Romando Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 12 minutes into the match, Eugênio Paranaense notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Edwardów's Eugeniusz Fiszer. Eugeniusz Fiszer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Romando Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sebastião Barbosa hit a great ball. Eugeniusz Fiszer was a little too slow when Christiano Ferraz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 4-0. Eugeniusz Fiszer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Ferraz in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Edwardów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gugu Proença was slow to take the kick. During this time Romando Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. Romando Futebol Clube's Gugu Proença was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eugeniusz Fiszer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 32nd minute of the match, Hélio Fernandez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eugeniusz Fiszer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
