Eustacio Estavan hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the game, Adrian Blajovan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adevarul Pur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luganeros AFC the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Adevarul Pur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Blajovan to maneuver through the defense. Ionel Panaitoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Jobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Ermegildo Jobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ionel Panaitoiu made a huge save. Adevarul Pur's Adrian Blajovan got his second yellow card of the match in the 16th minute. The referee ordered Adrian Blajovan off the ground. Adrian Blajovan hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute of the match Gustavo Feliu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ionel Panaitoiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ermegildo Jobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ionel Panaitoiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermegildo Jobo in the 30th minute. In the 33rd match minute, Luganeros AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Feliu to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Jobo took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionel Panaitoiu. Ionel Panaitoiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gustavo Feliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Panaitoiu having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ionică Vârlan to strike the kick off in the second half. Albert Pâslaru's late challenge caught a Luganeros AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Pâslaru helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Albert Pâslaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Ortzi. Gustavo Feliu might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionel Panaitoiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Feliu ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Luganeros AFC's Gustavo Feliu got a free kick in the 69th minute. When Ermegildo Jobo came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Luganeros AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Jobo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Jobo in the 76th minute of play forced Adevarul Pur's goalkeeper Ionel Panaitoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes in the game Albert Pâslaru did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vasile Dragomir. In the 81stth minute of the game Ermegildo Jobo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adevarul Pur's Ionel Panaitoiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luganeros AFC's Ermegildo Jobo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fulgencio Domenec fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luganeros AFC's protests and gave Fulgencio Domenec a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Domenec. Vasile Dragomir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Gaspard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
