Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Ilkka Markkula proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportes Santa Cruz from getting a goal against them. Oslo City FC's Kristian Evenstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Zhi Chuan in the 10th minute of play. When Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Yan Zhi Chuan in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oslo City FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute, Yan Zhi Chuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yan Zhi Chuan took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristian Evenstad. Kristian Evenstad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Oslo City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Podador Raheiro came free, but Kristian Evenstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Evenstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Zhi Chuan in the 23rd minute of the match. Oslo City FC's Kristian Evenstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Podador Raheiro in the 26th minute of play. Ilkka Markkula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liu Lang Xuan in the 27th minute. Kristian Evenstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Tupper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristian Evenstad came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Raimundo Tupper. But to his dismay, Raimundo Tupper quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, Yan Zhi Chuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristian Evenstad. Oslo City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yan Zhi Chuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ilkka Markkula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Dehli in the 39th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Yan Zhi Chuan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristian Evenstad was relentless in the 41st minute of the game.

Club Deportes Santa Cruz made a substitution. Marcus Edström replaced Raimundo Tupper. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Trayko Gradinarski was substituted for Podador Raheiro. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alf-Inge Kolsrud made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Gilberto Sandoval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristian Evenstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Edström, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Edström in the 57th minute of play forced Oslo City FC's goalkeeper Kristian Evenstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trayko Gradinarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Evenstad having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Edström in the 61st minute of play forced Oslo City FC's goalkeeper Kristian Evenstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Hüseyin Rahmi Toper slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kristian Evenstad. That made the score 0-5 after 64 minutes of play. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vágner Linares in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Oslo City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Edström came free, but Kristian Evenstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oslo City FC's Kristian Evenstad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Oslo City FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Club Deportes Santa Cruz booed when Oslo City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Dehli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristian Evenstad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trayko Gradinarski in the 81st minute. Kristian Evenstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Edström in the 82nd minute of the match. Oslo City FC's Kristian Evenstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Zhi Chuan in the 84th minute of play. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Trayko Gradinarski got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Yan Zhi Chuan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kristian Evenstad. The goal made the score 0-7. Oslo City FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Trayko Gradinarski scored to the left of an out of position Kristian Evenstad, making the score, 0-8. Shi Yuan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Alf-Inge Kolsrud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
