Roderik De Fauw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josef Vereeken in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clodoveo Rojas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Nusnäs IF booed when Ulan Bator Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Gysemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nusnäs IF's Nils-Erik Caspersson got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clodoveo Rojas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Vereeken in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Svenne Berka during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Nusnäs IF got a freekick which was hit by Svenne Berka. Ulan Bator Football Club's Gregory Verbeeck shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 26th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Clodoveo Rojas but with some difficulty. In the 28th minute Roano Santome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Rojas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stephan Spoelberghe was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. Stephan Spoelberghe hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Gregory, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Clodoveo Rojas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ros Vos de Vos in the 44th minute. If Josef Vereeken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute.
