When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Giancarlo Cervantes sped through The Northmen Army's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stig Bengtsson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Ahlerot in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Arcangel saved CDU Católica from getting behind. Sebastián Arcangel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hershel Guertin in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Morgan Bergstedt in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Arcangel saved CDU Católica from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Oyarzabal in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig Bengtsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hershel Guertin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Sebastián Arcangel made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Christopher Ahlerot got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hershel Guertin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes CDU Católica got a freekick which was hit by Jose Ramon Delpiano. After some careless play in the CDU Católica defense, Hershel Guertin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastián Arcangel. The CDU Católica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastián Arcangel should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute, Jose Ramon Delpiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Northmen Army's Kevin Näfver was substituted for Marc Lagerberg. The supporters of CDU Católica booed when The Northmen Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Bergstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emmanuel Ferreiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stig Bengtsson. The Northmen Army's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an all-out effort, CDU Católica's Stig Bengtsson threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonathan Oyarzabal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hershel Guertin in the 77th minute of play forced CDU Católica's goalkeeper Sebastián Arcangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes of play, The Northmen Army's Jorma Jääskeläinen made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastián Arcangel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jose Ramon Delpiano came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the CDU Católica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Ramon Delpiano couldn't finish the play. Sebastián Arcangel came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by The Northmen Army's Jorma Jääskeläinen. But to his dismay, Jorma Jääskeläinen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Sebastián Arcangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorma Jääskeläinen in the 89th minute of the match. The Northmen Army's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hershel Guertin in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christopher Ahlerot in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Arcangel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christopher Ahlerot kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The The Northmen Army fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when The Northmen Army's Kevin Näfver looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Northmen Army's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
