FC juveMET's Tamer Yağızbay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save FC juveMET from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute Camron Rhodes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tamer Yağızbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game İdris Ceyhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atalay Özgunay in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grant Blacknell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tamer Yağızbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şükür Hagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, FC juveMET's Tamer Yağızbay got control of the ball when Alexander Cheetham tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tamer Yağızbay came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Leicester Lions's Şükür Hagi. But to his dismay, Şükür Hagi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. FC juveMET's Tamer Yağızbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Patton in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Will Patton got free with Tamer Yağızbay in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 31 played minutes FC juveMET got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Fafinski. 33 minutes into the match, FC juveMET's goalkeeper Tamer Yağızbay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Will Patton. Tamer Yağızbay made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Stu Hislop sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute Will Patton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tamer Yağızbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Melo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Alexander Cheetham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Tamer Yağızbay made a huge save. Atalay Özgunay hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Şükür Hagi made the kick off in the second half.
