The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Conrado Mirande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Brolin having to interfere. Sivert Brolin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Locaio in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Flavio Locaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sivert Brolin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Sivert Brolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Locaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ian Ivarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, Donato Adrio made a precise shot to the right of Sivert Brolin. AZAT MARD FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jonas Pihl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Samuel Evarado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Pihl in the 28th minute of play. Sivert Brolin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Locaio in the 31st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Flavio Locaio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sivert Brolin. That made the score 4-0 in the 31 minute of play. AZAT MARD FC's Sivert Brolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Locaio in the 36th minute of play. Sivert Brolin was a little too slow when Amadeo Primeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 5-0. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Conrado Mirande took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Sivert Brolin to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavio Locaio was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Conrado Mirande left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermosillo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 61 minutes, Donato Adrio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hermosillo FC and the AZAT MARD FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Samuel Evarado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Ivarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Pelagius to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Hermosillo FC's Samuel Laurentzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sivert Brolin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. 76 minutes into the match, AZAT MARD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Decimo came free, but Sivert Brolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th match minute, AZAT MARD FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Lindelöf to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in AZAT MARD FC's zone, Flavio Locaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sivert Brolin came out of the goal and Flavio Locaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Donato Adrio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermosillo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Jonas Pihl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Evarado having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Donato Adrio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sivert Brolin was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0.
