With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Jaen in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolás DAndrea saved Defensores del Ángel Gris from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Vander came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Saul Jaen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolás DAndrea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 10th minute Enrico Testa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás DAndrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolás DAndrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Jaen in the 11th minute of the match. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Jaen in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Defensores del Ángel Gris booed when Nacional de Rolândia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Jaen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júnior Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolás DAndrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Jaen in the 27th minute of the match. Breno Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nicolás DAndrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Saul Jaen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolando Luars short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Victor Negri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 39th minute, Elpidio Luar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Vander in the 48th minute of play forced Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 49th minute of the match Nacional de Rolândia got a corner. Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mats Nyman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Saul Jaen made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Lixandro during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicolás DAndrea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saul Jaen's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The supporters of Defensores del Ángel Gris booed when Nacional de Rolândia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Enrico Testa came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Nacional de Rolândia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrico Testa couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Breno Siqueira made a precise shot to the right of Nicolás DAndrea. Defensores del Ángel Gris's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 78 minutes into the game, Mats Nyman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Nicolás DAndrea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicolás DAndrea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mats Nyman in the 83rd minute. Saul Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute of the match, Saul Jaen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicolás DAndrea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nacional de Rolândia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
