Xalo Camara hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Iordache Hirean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Plachetka in the 11th minute of the match. Eugeniusz Mnich kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Olgierd Sakowicz hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Bartlomiej Wojtowicz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Iordache Hirean skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cédric Payen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cédric Payen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krzysztof Domamir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Iordache Hirean got control of the ball when Bartlomiej Wojtowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Pogoń Szczecin booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xalo Camara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartlomiej Wojtowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Iordache Hirean made a huge save. Krzysztof Domamir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cédric Payen in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Bartlomiej Wojtowicz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Minerul Baita -MM-'s Iordache Hirean. Iordache Hirean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iordache Hirean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klement Plachetka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Pogoń Szczecin's Klement Plachetka in the 46th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Iordache Hirean was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Minerul Baita -MM- through an amazing save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klement Plachetka to strike the kick off in the second half. Felix Ferenț's late challenge caught a Pogoń Szczecin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Ferenț helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Felix Ferenț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iordache Hirean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Burdzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Ionică Şendrea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Krzysztof Domamir, 2-1. Pogoń Szczecin's Andrzej Bentkowski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eugeniusz Mnich, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Bartlomiej Wojtowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Iordache Hirean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartlomiej Wojtowicz in the 74th minute of play. Bartlomiej Wojtowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iordache Hirean. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartlomiej Wojtowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartlomiej Wojtowicz in the 76th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Iordache Hirean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iordache Hirean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartlomiej Wojtowicz in the 80th minute of the match. Bartlomiej Wojtowicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iordache Hirean having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartlomiej Wojtowicz in the 82nd minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Iordache Hirean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krzysztof Domamir was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Ionică Şendrea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ionică Şendrea really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. 93 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's Bartlomiej Wojtowicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iordache Hirean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when Pogoń Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karol Burdzel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
