Fenerbahçe S.K.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jermaine Preston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 马剑烨 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 马剑烨 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larry Strickland in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Gregory Perrault ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 马剑烨 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 马剑烨 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larry Strickland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 顾天源 in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marin White saved Fenerbahçe S.K. from getting behind. 马剑烨 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry Strickland, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Larry Strickland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 马剑烨 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 马剑烨 came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Jermaine Preston. But to his dismay, Jermaine Preston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 马剑烨 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louie Théberge in the 41st minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louie Théberge to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, MAN.UTD-阿贵's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Strickland came free, but 马剑烨 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 马剑烨 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Perrault in the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when A.J. 颜良 came free, but Marin White reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MAN.UTD-阿贵's 龙延骏 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eduardo Long, made in the 58th minute of the game. Eduardo Long made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Louie Théberge however managed to control. The supporters of Fenerbahçe S.K. booed when MAN.UTD-阿贵 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. 龙延骏 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Larry Strickland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Larry Strickland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but 马剑烨 made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Larry Strickland could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which 马剑烨 however easily saved by the left post. Jermaine Preston's late challenge caught a MAN.UTD-阿贵's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jermaine Preston helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fenerbahçe S.K. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jermaine Preston hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Gregory Perrault got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute of the match 乔海磊 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marin White skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Fenerbahçe S.K. booed when MAN.UTD-阿贵 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. 乔宁弘 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Larry Strickland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but 马剑烨 firmly grabbed it by the left post. 乔海磊 hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Gabriel Velazquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
