Gunnar Jakobsson made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Diguinho Souza sent off a good shot on target. Atlético da Colina's Vinícius Conceicão quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gert Österberg, made in the 14th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Diguinho Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Xentrias got a freekick which was hit by Jan Björklund. Diguinho Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Jakobsson having to interfere. When Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xentrias's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Diguinho Souza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gunnar Jakobsson. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. After 31 played minutes Xentrias got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Kullgren. The long shot by Orlando Vinhas in the 32nd minute really tested Gunnar Jakobsson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Nelson Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Fredriksson in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Diguinho Souza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gunnar Jakobsson. Diguinho Souza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Fredriksson in the 43rd minute of play forced Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Nelson Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diguinho Souza was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Fredriksson came free, but Nelson Jesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Jarl Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gert Österberg hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Diguinho Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gunnar Jakobsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jarl Fredriksson 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. Aaron Kullgren charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Kullgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Xentrias got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Kullgren. Diguinho Souza scored 5-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Jakobsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gunnar Jakobsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diguinho Souza's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Nelson Jesus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Atlético da Colina's Diguinho Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gunnar Jakobsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. In the 86th minute, Diguinho Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético da Colina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1.
