Feyyaz Uçar started the match with the kick off. Pelle Rudqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boran Gencal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pelle Rudqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Bozkurt's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Rudqvist came free, but Boran Gencal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Xentrias got a freekick which was hit by Göran Lidman. Boran Gencal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pelle Rudqvist went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute, Feyyaz Uçar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gunnar Jakobsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Taner Sartık got a throw-in 29 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ziya Tozun. 30 minutes into the game, Pelle Rudqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Boran Gencal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boran Gencal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göran Lidman in the 38th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Cevdet Ayvaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bozkurt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xentrias the free kick. After 45 played minutes, Bozkurt's Özalp Hasankeyf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gunnar Jakobsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bozkurt reached it. In the 46th minute, Pelle Rudqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xentrias fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Göran Lidman to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Bozkurt's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Rudqvist came free, but Boran Gencal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feyyaz Uçar in the 59th minute of play forced Xentrias's goalkeeper Gunnar Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bozkurt booed when Xentrias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Björklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Feyyaz Uçar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boran Gencal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Kullgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Bozkurt's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Lidman came free, but Boran Gencal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xentrias's Gunnar Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alperen Bozkurt in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Xentrias's Fang Yang Fei got a free kick in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Bozkurt defense, Jan Björklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boran Gencal. The Bozkurt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boran Gencal should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pelle Rudqvist in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boran Gencal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gunnar Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feyyaz Uçar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boran Gencal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Lidman in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Bozkurt's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Rudqvist came free, but Boran Gencal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göran Lidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boran Gencal having to interfere. Miklós Császár's late challenge caught a Bozkurt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miklós Császár helped the player get up and apologised. Miklós Császár kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Gunnar Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feyyaz Uçar in the 96th minute of the match.
