Edgar Dankowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Veto in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Veto in the 16th minute of play forced Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Edgar Dankowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Dankowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Tabb in the 23rd minute of the match. Wit Dubilas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Fernando Perrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Dubilas in the 33rd minute of play. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Nemesio Tabb got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, INDEPENDIENTE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Larpe to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Santiago Veto got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nemesio Tabb to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Beniamin Piesciuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wisła Kraków's supporters rose to their feet, but Beniamin Piesciuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Perrando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Inge got free with Edgar Dankowski in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Iván Kuzmenko got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Fernando Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Zaremba in the 60th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Wisła Kraków's Wit Dubilas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Perrando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wisła Kraków's Edgar Dankowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Wisła Kraków from getting a goal against them. Bogdan Pankiewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Perrando having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Veto got free with Edgar Dankowski in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Wisła Kraków getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Iwan Zaremba hit a great ball. The long shot by Matthías Šindelář in the 88th minute really tested Edgar Dankowski's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Edgar Dankowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Veto in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Damazy Nocny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornelio Inge might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Dankowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cornelio Inge ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, Santiago Veto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edgar Dankowski, 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
