After 18 minutes Arsenal FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodrigo Melo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to México Eterno MZC's Eugênio Viana getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Arsenal FC's Songur Yoran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal FC from getting a goal against them. In the 27thth minute of the game Alessandro Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal FC's Songur Yoran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dida Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Löfgren in the 28th minute of play. If Matthias Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Songur Yoran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Melo's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Alessandro Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. México Eterno MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Songur Yoran made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Eugênio Viana sent off a good shot on target. The México Eterno MZC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arsenal FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Melo made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal FC's zone, Pipis Fino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Songur Yoran came out of the goal and Pipis Fino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 played minutes México Eterno MZC got a freekick which was hit by Carlitos Tevez. After a rather tough play, México Eterno MZC's Diguinho Berger got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Per-Åke Albäck got a free kick in the 60th minute. 67 minutes into the match, México Eterno MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Löfgren came free, but Dida Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dida Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the last second Dida Paredes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Matthias Löfgren in the 91stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Dida Paredes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matthias Löfgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 92 minute of play. Arsenal FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
