The supporters of Veth Crystals booed when 9 Lurah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patar Manuputty didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 played minutes 9 Lurah got a freekick which was hit by Patar Manuputty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gwidon Patora in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krisna Sinurat saved 9 Lurah from getting behind. Veth Crystals's Marcos Lama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Oskar Västberg in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Veth Crystals's Erik Persson got a free kick in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos-Armando Valderrama in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krisna Sinurat saved 9 Lurah from getting behind. If Erik Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos-Armando Valderrama struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Krisna Sinurat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veth Crystals. Krisna Sinurat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Patora, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute, 9 Lurah's Arul Zumardi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Lama. Marcos Lama yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 32 minutes, Herbert Wozniak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 9 Lurah and the Veth Crystals players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute Gwidon Patora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krisna Sinurat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Krisna Sinurat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Patora in the 39th minute of the match. Marcos Lama was a little too slow when Karl-Oskar Västberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwidon Patora to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Iskandar in the 51st minute of play forced Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Marcos Lama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Veth Crystals's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iram Karundeng was slow to take the kick. During this time 9 Lurah's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to 9 Lurah getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dadan Lisandri hit a great ball. Erik Persson hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Krisna Sinurat made an important save on a dangerous shot by He Lin Di in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, 9 Lurah's Herbert Wozniak got a free kick in the 66th minute. 9 Lurah's Tatang Muttaqien was substituted for Rendy Goeslaw. In the 67th minute, Herbert Wozniak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gwidon Patora got free with Krisna Sinurat in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Gwidon Patora sped through 9 Lurah's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Krisna Sinurat. Krisna Sinurat was a little too slow when He Lin Di got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-3. Krisna Sinurat made an important save on a dangerous shot by He Lin Di in the 80th minute. 9 Lurah's Krisna Sinurat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos-Armando Valderrama in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Gwidon Patora dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Krisna Sinurat, 2-4. Veth Crystals's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
