In the 13th minute, Lion Messi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lunatico F.C's Lucio Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Lunatico F.C from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Lunatico F.C's Serafin Cayo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Lucio Lastur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maxín Escudero in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Maxín Escudero lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Lucio Lastur. Lunatico F.C's Lucio Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lion Messi in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Lunatico F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Lion Messi came free, but Lucio Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lunatico F.C's Lucio Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Lunatico F.C from getting a goal against them. When Melquiades Mikelats fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lunatico F.C's protests and gave Melquiades Mikelats a yellow card for diving instead. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Lucio Lastur successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Maxín Escudero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Lucio Lastur made a huge save. Algarrobo's Salvador Mateluna shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lucio Lastur but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Algarrobo's Alcides Cubillos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Lucio Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidelio Aldunate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ubaldo Bertin charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Bertin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lunatico F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Ambrosio Telesforo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Fidelio Aldunate ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucio Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Fidelio Aldunate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Fidelio Aldunate ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucio Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The audience was convinced that Fidelio Aldunate's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucio Lastur was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
