Ruhi Uluöz struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Andreas Berglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OROTINENSE. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save OROTINENSE from getting a goal against them. Parvan Hadzhipetkov thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Liu Yong Yong, a very annoying self made goal in the 8th minute which led to 1-0. Liu Yong Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjetil Hellevik, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severin Hussein. Kjetil Hellevik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjetil Hellevik got free with Liu Yong Yong in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save OROTINENSE from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, OROTINENSE's Severino Rosado got a free kick in the 37th minute. Andreas Berglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Songurhan Mete in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacek Walczak to make the kick off. Ruhi Uluöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Berglund having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Gædd FK's goalkeeper Andreas Berglund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Orihuela. With his leg Andreas Berglund managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when OROTINENSE's Jacek Walczak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Walczak in the 58th minute of play. Liu Yong Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severin Hussein in the 60th minute of the match. Andreas Berglund came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by OROTINENSE's Jacek Walczak. But to his dismay, Jacek Walczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 68 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Iordache Opincaru. In the 70th minute Severin Hussein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liu Yong Yong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liu Yong Yong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf-Inge Hol in the 71st minute of play. After 75 minutes, Magnus Gerhardsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gædd FK and the OROTINENSE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Magnus Gerhardsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacek Walczak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andreas Berglund. Gædd FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severin Hussein in the 78th minute of play. Andreas Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvald Birkborg, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Severino Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. OROTINENSE's Jacek Walczak couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gædd FK. 91 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's Sigvald Birkborg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Berglund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gædd FK's Tor-Ivar Mæhle got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Alf-Inge Hol came free, but Liu Yong Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
