The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejo Elizardo during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Igor Monø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doru Apostu having to interfere. If Leonard Chirculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nahuel Losada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Unai Herrera in the 35th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Belgrano LOS PIRATAS got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Drago. Leonard Chirculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nahuel Losada having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Leonard Chirculescu made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Unai Herrera in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nahuel Losada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doru Apostu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Monø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Enciulescu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Anastasio Orlondo got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Leonard Chirculescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nahuel Losada was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. The corner led Paralia Athens's Olimpiu Zgabei to fire away a dangerous shot which Nahuel Losada despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 77th minute Unai Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nahuel Losada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Mircea Robu hit a great ball. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paralia Athens's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivan Drago was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's players had a chance to rest. Paralia Athens's Doru Apostu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Paralia Athens from getting a goal against them. In the 86th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Chirilă to maneuver through the defense.
