The shot missed the goal on the right side and Ruud van Nistelrooij ran dejectedly back to his position. 96 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Nuno Candeias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Acácio Botelho. The MEXACOMX manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER to win.
