In the 5th minute Jimeno Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Batalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Jimeno Aimar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Arianos DM's Augusto Batalla. Augusto Batalla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arianos DM's Augusto Batalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Aimar in the 13th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, chacarita juniors's goalkeeper Zacarias Leoiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fermin Arixo. Victor Bakars short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Zacarias Leoiar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zacarias Leoiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Bakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Jimeno Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Batalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Leoiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Bakar, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Augusto Batalla came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by chacarita juniors's Kacper Trochowski. But to his dismay, Kacper Trochowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With splendid footwork Fermin Arixo arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-2 by the left pole in the game's 37th minute. Hugo Platon charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Platon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Victor Bakar came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Arianos DM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Bakar couldn't finish the play. After 46 played minutes Arianos DM got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Mirande. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Bakar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zacarias Leoiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Arixo in the 53rd minute of the match. Zacarias Leoiar didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Arianos DM's Victor Bakar shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Fermin Arixo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Zacarias Leoiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arianos DM. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evelio Ermano got free with Augusto Batalla in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augusto Batalla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kacper Trochowski's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Zacarias Leoiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Bakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute of the match Arianos DM got a corner. chacarita juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeronimo Bento ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zacarias Leoiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Bakar's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Victor Bakar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but chacarita juniors's Zacarias Leoiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Arianos DM's Victor Bakar in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye chacarita juniors's goalie prevented a goal. Jimeno Aimar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Augusto Batalla firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in chacarita juniors's zone, Fermin Arixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Leoiar came out of the goal and Fermin Arixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. chacarita juniors made a substitution. Nestor Abilio replaced Evelio Ermano. Nestor Abilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Nestor Abilio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Augusto Batalla. The goal made the score 3-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
