Reinaud Arnoets in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Ignacio Rocha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Leonel Baumer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Badiola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Reinaud Arnoets sped through Inter de Chillán's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Ignacio Rocha. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Valdivia in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Baumer saved Le Stade Briochin UC from getting behind. 16 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Badiola came free, but Leonel Baumer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper José Ignacio Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcos Soto's late challenge caught a Le Stade Briochin UC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Soto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Marcos Soto hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Le Stade Briochin UC's Reinaud Arnoets ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Ignacio Rocha. José Ignacio Rocha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 28 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Peyraud came free, but José Ignacio Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joël Laget hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Marc-Olivier Chopard put in a rough tackle. In the 36th minute, Robin Peyraud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joël Laget's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Ignacio Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Robin Peyraud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Le Stade Briochin UC's Ange Lochet was substituted for Joël Laget. A collision led to Le Stade Briochin UC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Robin Peyraud hit a great ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robin Peyraud was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Adam Badiola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonel Baumer. Adam Badiola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Valdivia got free with Leonel Baumer in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonel Baumer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Badiola, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Omar Cardot hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Robin Peyraud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Soto got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 67 played minutes Inter de Chillán got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Soto. José Ignacio Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jocelyn Benito in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inter de Chillán's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jocelyn Benito was slow to take the kick. During this time Le Stade Briochin UC's players had a chance to rest. José Ignacio Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaël Rats, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jocelyn Benito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Le Stade Briochin UC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jocelyn Benito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Ignacio Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Ignacio Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaël Rats in the 78th minute of the match. Omar Cardot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Ignacio Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. If Gaël Rats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Gaël Rats had to leave the field with a concussion. Le Stade Briochin UC's Paul-Henri Pierlot was substituted for Gaël Rats. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Inter de Chillán! The referee gave Le Stade Briochin UC a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Reinaud Arnoets, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Inter de Chillán's José Ignacio Rocha. 5-3. After having played for 89 minutes, Paul-Henri Pierlot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Le Stade Briochin UC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul-Henri Pierlot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Ange Lochet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
