Jiří Železný took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Piotr Gecionis. Piotr Gecionis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Jiří Železný had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvald Štefl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Piotr Gecionis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Piotr Gecionis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Kožnar in the 13th minute of the match. Czeslaw Rakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Piotr Gecionis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiří Železný in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Martin Kožnar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Košíře Praha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Kožnar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FK Košíře Praha booed when Śląsk Bytom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Wietrzychowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. FK Košíře Praha's Alois Zach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Wietrzychowski in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Napoleon Wietrzychowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucjan Sochacki came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alois Zach could save by the left post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roch Betonowy was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Śląsk Bytom getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Napoleon Wietrzychowski hit a great ball. Martin Kožnar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Piotr Gecionis firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 64th minute Oleg Mondek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Gecionis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Śląsk Bytom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maciek Hana to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Napoleon Wietrzychowski made a precise shot to the right of Alois Zach. FK Košíře Praha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 76th match minute, Śląsk Bytom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maciek Hana to maneuver through the defense. Martin Kožnar charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Kožnar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, FK Košíře Praha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Kožnar to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FK Košíře Praha defense, Napoleon Wietrzychowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alois Zach. The FK Košíře Praha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alois Zach should have stopped the shot. Alois Zach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Betonowy in the 85th minute of play. Miloš Pavlis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Piotr Gecionis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jiří Železný recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Śląsk Bytom were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FK Košíře Praha for a fine match.
