The referee showed Cory Kirkland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kerkyra FC booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cory Kirkland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loukas Kois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mete Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Scottie Ciauri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The audience was convinced that Mete Ferro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loukas Kois was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Loukas Kois didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when New England Minas's Cory Kirkland shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. If Mete Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Loukas Kois made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Mete Ferro sent off a good shot on target. New England Minas's Martin Markusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koulis Kouloucheris in the 70th minute of play. With an all-out effort, New England Minas's Loukas Kois threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cory Kirkland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kerkyra FC's Loukas Kois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Kerkyra FC from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute Koulis Kouloucheris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Kerkyra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Clinton Caballero managed to get in a good position for a shot. New England Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Clinton Caballero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kerkyra FC's goalkeeper Loukas Kois, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
